We have Video Evidence Of Rigging In Rivers – Peterside

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Dakuku Peterside, says the party is in possession of a video evidence of rigging in Rivers State.

Mr Peterside was speaking via the telephone on Channels Television’s election monitoring programme in the early hours of Monday, March 30.

This was few minutes after the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Candidate in the state, Nyesom Wike, had come on the same programme to debunk allegations of fraud laid against it by the APC.

The APC candidate, in his reaction to Wike’s claims, insisted that there were indeed no elections in Rivers State, maintaining the party’s stance that result sheets were deliberately held back by the PDP with the connivance of INEC officials to aid their planned electoral fraud.
He said that while a member of the APC was going to make an official complain about the irregularities across the state, he discovered some persons who were supposed to be electoral personnel “thumbprinting” for the PDP and their activities were caught on camera.

He revealed that INEC result sheets were also found in the home of an individual who is a member of the PDP.

According to him, “As we speak we have access to one or two of those result sheets. When we got to the home of that individual, they ran away but we were able to lay our hands on one or two and we did a video documentation of what happened there.”

Mr Peterside gave his account of happenings in several parts of the state with claims of being in possession of evidences to validate the claim that there were no elections in the state.
