Harrowing mobile phone footage taken on board the doomed Germanwings flight has recorded the devastating moment that screaming passengers knew they were going to die, it has been claimed.

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Dakuku Peterside, says the party is in possession of a video evidence of rigging in Rivers State.

Rivers Election: INEC Refutes Claims Of Fraud By Protesters

The Independent National Electoral Commission in Nigeria (INEC) has refuted the claims of fraud by protesters who have taken to the streets in Rivers State after the election.

The INEC said elections were held in the state.

Supporters of the All progressives Congress in their thousands and political aspirants of the party in the sate, started protesting after Saturday’s elections, saying there was no election in the state.

They have forwarded a petition to the IENC, seeking the cancellation of the elections results and insisting that it was flawed.

The presidential election results for 18 states plus the FCT has so far been announced. The APC has 10 states, while PDP has 8 states plus the FCT, Abuja. It's a very tight race.

So far APC is leading with 8,520,436 votes while PDP has 6,488,210 votes.

Colombian drug gang who smuggled cocaine worth £25million into Britain inside plastic bananas jailed for total of 59 years

Three men who smuggled more than 230lbs of cocaine hidden inside plastic bananas have been jailed for a total of 59 years.
Leonel Hernandez-Gonzalez, 37, Oscar Alberto Grisales-Cuervo, 46, and Daniel Valdes Jaramillo, 24, worked with Colombian drug lords to bring in cocaine worth £25million in a consignment of bananas, hiding the drugs among the real fruit.
The three men, from London, were arrested after meeting at a Brixton cafe to exchange a 'treasure map' detailing where drugs were hidden in a warehouse in Kent.

The man in the photo above was allegedly shot dead by a soldier this morning at Bauchi's INEC Office after the military tried to gain access into the office. Residents of the state had blocked the military from entering the office as results were being collated and this sparked the violence.
