Gay rapist ‘disvirgins’ over 10 straight men after getting them drunk
College students were disgusted to learn that a man sexually assaulted heterosexuals. Police in Maryland, said that so far, three people came forward and filed complaints of sexual assault against 38-year-old Joey Poindexter. Police found photos of victims in the phone of the suspect and they believe that there are a lot more victims in different states. Poindexter, who was nicknamed the “beer pong rapist,” hung out with people at bars and beer pong tournaments, where prosecutors said he was looking for drunk victims. One victim said that he was at a beer pong tournament at Looney’s Pub in College Park just off the
University of Maryland campus, when he was taken to the suspect’s home without consent while he was drunk, according to reports from Montgomery County Police and University of Maryland Police.
The man said that he woke up in Poindexter’s home in Gaithersburg. He was without clothes and realized that he had been violated. The victim contacted police, and later recorded a phone conversation with Poindexter, leading to his arrest. In the recorded phone conversation, Poindexter told the victim “If it makes you feel any better, I don’t have AIDS.” Police then found photos of 10 more victims on his phone. Police said that the victims were clearly drunk and unconscious when they were sexually assaulted. “The victims have all stated that they are heterosexual and have never had consensual sex with another man,” Montgomery County Assistant Police Chief Russ Hamill said. There’s no conclusive evidence to prove if Poindexter drugged his victims, but authorities have not ruled it out. Poindexter faces a maximum sentence of 200 years in prison.
